Consolation in the Forest by Edvard Munch is an expressionist painting from 1924\u20131925, held under accession number MM.M.00713 by the Munchmuseet<\/a> in Oslo: the lower part of the canvas is taken by a large seated figure seen from behind and a little to the side.
