How do we paint Portrait of M\u00e4da Primavesi by hand?<\/h3>\n

The painter starts with the standing figure, so that the frontal pose, the angle of the arms and the position of the feet match the original exactly. Then the background is laid in: the pink and violet field with its small flowers and birds, painted lightly so that it shimmers behind her rather than crowding her.<\/p>\n
