This painting represents the 2nd Chakra – the Sacral Chakra. It is located about an inch and a half above the 1st chakra, the cane or root chakra, which is at the base of the spine. This is the chakra for creativity in all forms, openness, receptivity to new ideas and divine inspiration. It is the centre that governs relationships, sexual energy and reproduction or procreation. The predominant colour is orange.

The 2nd Chakra painting, the sacral chakra in warm tones, comes in 4 upright sizes: 30 x 40, 36 x 48, 60 x 80 and 90 x 120 cm. For a shelf or a narrow wall by a work table, choose 30 x 40 or 36 x 48 cm; above a 90 cm chest, choose 60 x 80 cm, two thirds of its width; and for the wall over a 135 cm chest of drawers, 90 x 120 cm. The red-orange ground with a sweep of leaf green and yellow and a blue edge on the right gives a studio or creative corner a warm, lively tone.

The smaller orange canvases, 30 x 40 and 36 x 48 cm, arrive in 6 days, the larger 60 x 80 and 90 x 120 cm in 15–45 days. Choose YES in the Stretcher menu and the red-orange canvas arrives stretched on a wooden stretcher, ready to hang. A frame is optional: for the 2nd Chakra painting the Frame menu starts at “Without frame”. The tactile relief and the green sweep are hand-painted, so the 2nd Chakra painting is not a print.
