Adam and Eve is a painting by Fernando Botero: a full-figured Adam and Eve standing arm in arm before the tree with the serpent. We paint our hand-painted study of Adam and Eve to order on canvas, in oil or acrylic, in 8 sizes from 60 × 70 cm to 183 × 219 cm or in a custom size. Before Adam and Eve is dispatched, we send you a photo of the finished painting.

Adam and Eve shows them both from behind, holding each other in front of a dark tree; Adam reaches up towards the fruit in the leaves, and a red serpent winds through the branches. Botero tells the familiar Bible story with full bodies, warm colours and gentle humour, which is why Adam and Eve feels tender and smiling.

Our painters paint the study of Adam and Eve by hand, with brushstrokes of different thickness, separately for every order. We paint in oil or acrylic, depending on the subject and the size, so the surface of Adam and Eve has a real paint texture that a print does not have. When Adam and Eve is finished, we photograph it and send you the photo for approval.
