The Avant-garde painting: a four-panel set in ochre, red, brown and green
The Avant-garde painting is four tall bands, ochre, red, brown and green, hung side by side in a row. The menu sizes are square and give the whole four-band set, width first, so one band is a quarter of the width and the full height. At 80 x 80 cm a band is 20 cm wide and 80 cm tall; at 100 x 100 cm, 25 cm wide and 100 cm tall; at 120 x 120 cm, 30 cm wide and 120 cm tall; at 140 x 140 cm, 35 cm wide and 140 cm tall; at 150 x 150 cm, 37.5 cm wide and 150 cm tall; at 160 x 160 cm, 40 cm wide and 160 cm tall; at 170 x 170 cm, 42.5 cm wide and 170 cm tall; at 180 x 180 cm, 45 cm wide and 180 cm tall; at 190 x 190 cm, 47.5 cm wide and 190 cm tall; and at 200 x 200 cm, 50 cm wide and 200 cm tall.
80 x 80 cm suits a narrow wall, a hallway or the space above a 120 cm chest of drawers. Over a 160 cm bed, choose 100 x 100 cm, about two thirds of its width. From 160 x 160 cm up, the bands need a high open wall, and 190 x 190 cm and 200 x 200 cm suit a staircase wall, a gallery or a double-height room.
Each of the four coloured bands arrives stretched on a wooden stretcher, included in the price. Hang them side by side with equal gaps, starting with the red and brown ones in the middle, centre line level. Delivery takes 15–45 days. The vertical ridges and the rough stripe are hand-painted, so the Avant-garde painting is not a print.
