Aleks was born in 1985 in Moscow. His interest in drawing emerged at the age of six when he began attending an art studio in Moscow. At twelve, he enrolled in the V. A. Serov Art School in Moscow, from which he graduated in 2001.
In 2002, he continued his studies at the V. I. Surikov Moscow State Academy Art Institute under the Russian Academy of Arts, studying in the studio of Professor V. N. Telin. In 2008, he graduated and began working as a drawing and painting teacher at the Moscow State Academic Art College and the V. A. Serov Art School, where he taught until 2022. In 2022, he moved to Slovenia. He now lives in Kranj, a city that inspires his creative work.
