You can order a hand-painted copy of a famous painting even if it is not in our shop, a painting from your own photo (portrait, home, wedding), or an existing motif in another size or other colours. The painter paints it with a brush on canvas, in oil or acrylic depending on the motif. Before dispatch we send you a photo of the finished painting, and we ship only after you approve it.
In 2025, we proudly completed a custom painting—a project involving a demanding reproduction of one of the most dynamic compositions in art history. This painting is not merely an aesthetic addition to a space, but the result of an in-depth study of Renaissance technique and detail.
The painting was protected with glass and framed in a gold frame.
With reproductions of this scale, there is no room for error. We managed the process with complete transparency—from the initial sketch, where we captured the anatomy of the horses and fighters, to the final glazed layers that gave the painting its depth. The entire process was carried out in close cooperation with the client, as we believe that trust is the key to a successful project.
Client Review: “Pleasant (and prompt) communication, they stick to the pre-agreed price and production deadline, and above all, they produce a painting of exceptional quality. The reproduction of Leonardo da Vinci is already decorating my living room, I absolutely recommend them!”
A portrait painting is a memory captured on canvas. Whether it is a gift for an anniversary, a milestone celebration, or a tribute to a loved one, every project is approached with the utmost precision and respect for detail.
The painting was decorated as a gift at the client’s request.
To ensure both a perfect likeness and high artistic value, the process is carried out in close cooperation with you:

The Story of Creation: Peace and Balance in Oil
A client approached svetslik.si with a special request—a motif of balanced stones, symbolizing stability and inner peace, as they couldn’t find a similar painting in our standard gallery. The result?
Perfect Customization: We transferred the motif from a digital concept onto an artist canvas.
Hand-Painted Texture: Every line and shadow on the stones was carefully painted, giving the painting depth and a tangible character.
Final Harmony: The choice of a silver frame was matched with the cool undertones of the lower stones, creating a perfect contrast with the warmer shades at the top.
Client Review: “My husband and I found two nature-themed paintings online that would have been perfect for our living space, but they weren’t available for delivery from Canada. Plus, they weren’t in the right size and the technique was just an acrylic print. On the recommendation of friends, we ordered acrylic paintings from Svet slik instead. We are absolutely thrilled with both the products and the service! In terms of content, the paintings are a perfect imitation, but in quality, they far exceed the originals. The service is characterized by an easy ordering process, high responsiveness, reliability, excellent communication, and strict adherence to agreed deadlines—plus, the price is more than fair. We are proud that such a professional service exists in Slovenia; we highly recommend them!”

A wedding is more than one day: it is the start of a shared life and a memory that stays with you. A hand-painted canvas painting is a fine way to keep your most important day, or to give the newlyweds a one-of-a-kind gift.
A portrait of the couple from a wedding photograph, the bridal bouquet, the place of the ceremony or a romantic motif that means a lot to you: we give every commission full care and close attention to detail.
How a wedding painting is made
To give the painting its full artistic value and feeling, we work closely with you:
Choosing the photo and the style: a wedding painting starts from a good photograph (a portrait of the two of you, the bouquet or the setting). Together we choose the size, the technique (oil or acrylic) and a palette that suits your energy and the style of the wedding.
The painter’s interpretation: with careful brushwork and light we capture the emotion, the elegance of the dress, the softness of the flowers and the magic of the moment.
Building depth and detail: layer by layer the paint gives volume, texture and a touch of romance, and the photograph becomes a painting with a soul of its own.
Final details and approval: before we finish, we send you a photo of the painting so you can be sure you are fully happy with it. If needed, we adjust small nuances to your wishes.
Framing and delivery: the painting is well protected and ready for framing, to hang in your home as a lasting reminder of your vows. Looking for a wedding painting – hand-painted on canvas?
