A panorama of vertical knife strokes – white and cream bundles over rust, brown and black – all texture, without a single centre: black masses rise at the upper centre-left and at the left edge mid-height, where a grey square is inset, while rust-copper zones glow in the upper right corner and among the strokes at the centre.
Technique & Texture
Grey patches lie at the upper centre, and taupe margins border the left and lower left. This is a hand-painted painting on canvas – hand-wide vertical knife pulls are densest and tallest through the centre and right, their ridges catching real light.
The Motif
A small dark pebble sits at the lower centre-right, and an earthy palette of white, brown and black tones interweaves without hierarchy. Energetic impasto strokes, where the black masses and rust glow serve as anchors in a field of unrest.

A long hallway or reception wall has room for 180 x 85 or 200 x 95 cm.
The first photograph shows the canvas in a slim frame above a burnt-orange sofa in a sunlit living room, and the second photograph catches the thick knife strokes in cream, black and rust up close.
