Description
Sledi I is a darker, more intense version of the same series — dark green and deep teal cover the right half, while the left burns in deep carmine red and pink. White, gold, and blue vertical strokes pierce through both colour masses like rays of light through a dense mass. The surface is plastic and energetic — the palette knife was clearly the tool here, not the brush. The whole evokes the verticality of a city or a rainforest seen from below, with all its colours at once. A hand-painted painting with a strong visual punch for a space that does not lack confidence — canvas wall art with commanding presence.
