Description

White Forms – sculptural whiteness around graphite
A white-grey sculptural abstraction – large scratched white curved masses folding around dark graphite zones, with thin pencil lines showing through beneath the paint: a rounded white belly mass sweeps across the top, a dark graphite crackled wedge points up at the upper centre-right, and a light-grey field top-right carries a faint pencil circle.
Technique & Texture
A chalky white plaster block is at the centre over a taupe smear, and across the lower centre-right a white sail with directional scratches spreads. This is a hand-painted painting on canvas – three dark graphite zones anchor the composition: the upper wedge, a charred vertical at the lower left and a dark mass at the right middle.
The Motif
In the left column run two thin vertical pencil lines, one with a small crook at its top, and pale smears breathe around them. Curved forms and a scratched surface, where the thin line-drawing in the background gives the sculptural whiteness a gentle human trace.
Styling & Placement
A calm decorative painting for living rooms, bedrooms and offices; the whiteness brightens the room, the graphite zones add depth. Wall art for bright, minimalist spaces.
