Blue Energy – a fountain of arcs from a dark core
A gestural fountain of blue arcs: a cluster of thick cobalt-navy curves sweeps from the upper right across the top and plunges toward the lower left, the longest tail reaching the lower left edge, while a second family of arcs at the lower right curls upward – a movement that returns into itself.
Technique & Texture
Behind the arcs, at the upper centre, lies a dark navy-anthracite core – the source of the burst – and the ground around it is light, mottled grey-white with rust patches at the left and the lower right. This is a hand-painted work of art – the darkness is condensed in the core, not spilled across the background.
The Motif
Along the upper left edge a dark teal arc lights up, and sparks sign the energy: two yellow stripes riding the long tail, a yellow cluster with an orange berry glowing on the right, orange dashes along the top edge and left of centre, and grey-white spatter and black dots over everything.
