Description
The Dark Vortex painting: a swirl of black, blue and rust strokes on two canvases
The Dark Vortex painting comes in 11 sizes, 50 x 80 cm to 200 x 320 cm, on two upright canvases side by side, and the menu gives the total of both, height first. One Dark Vortex canvas is as tall as the total and half as wide, so it measures 50 x 40, 60 x 50, 70 x 55, 80 x 65, 90 x 70, 100 x 80, 120 x 95, 140 x 110, 160 x 125, 180 x 145 or 200 x 160 cm. Above a 200 cm sofa, go for 80 x 130 cm.
Both Dark Vortex canvases arrive unframed in 15–45 days on their own wooden stretchers, included in the price. The first photograph shows the pair above a white desk in grey frames, which are for illustration only, and the second photograph a close-up of black, brown and white strokes. The broad, quick strokes are hand-painted, so it is not a print.
