The Art of Living: How XXL Paintings from svetslik.si Refreshed the Dom Ambient Showroom in Ljubljana

In the world of high-end interiors, it is often said that furniture is the body of a room and art is its soul. That is exactly the philosophy we put into practice in our latest collaboration, in which Svet slik furnished the Dom Ambient showroom in Ljubljana with a selection of artworks.

The showroom at Igriška ulica 5, a byword for top Danish design and timeless aesthetics, has gained a whole new dimension with the hanging of our paintings. The aim of this collaboration is to create an atmosphere in which visitors feel at home and can more easily picture how a modern sofa blends with one-of-a-kind art on the wall.

Monumental Aesthetics: XXL Paintings 270 cm High

The stars of the new showroom display are our huge XXL abstract paintings, which measure a full 270 cm in height. We chose these monumental art paintings on purpose: their height lets them fill the showroom’s vertical space and create a sense of luxury that standard formats cannot achieve.

Placing such large canvases next to made-to-measure sofas shows visitors how the right format of an artwork can define an entire space. The XXL paintings act as a visual anchor that highlights the elegance of sofa beds and modular sets from renowned brands.

Perfect Harmony Between Comfort and Texture

When furnishing the space, we focused on complementary colours. The Scandinavian design that Dom Ambient represents is built on clean lines and natural materials. With their rich texture and carefully considered palette, from deep blues to warm earthy tones, our paintings bring out the comfort and quality of the materials.

Visitors to the showroom can now see for themselves how:

• XXL triptych paintings visually balance spaces dominated by roomy corner sofas.

• Abstract motifs add character to the corners where modern armchairs are on display.

• Colour accents in the paintings tie the furniture’s textile patterns together into one coherent story.

More Than a Showroom: A Place of Inspiration for Your Home

The collaboration between Svet slik and Dom Ambient Ljubljana brings together two worlds that both strive to raise the standard of home living. Dom Ambient offers quality furniture that solves space challenges, while we bring uniqueness and visual calm into those spaces.
