What does Ciurana, The Path show?
In Ciurana, The Path yellow, green and violet fields curve through the foreground, a winding yellow path climbs up on the right, round trees stand between them, and hills and a village rise behind under a blue sky. The young Miró painted the landscape around the village of Ciurana in the bold colours of Fauvism and with Cubist forms, which is why Ciurana, The Path feels cheerful, playful and full of light.
