The Circle on White painting: a three-panel black and white canvas for a modern living room
Circle on White hangs as three canvases side by side in a row, and each size in the menu gives the whole set, width first, so one canvas is a third of that width and the full height. At 95 x 40 cm each canvas is about 32 cm wide and 40 cm tall; at 120 x 50 cm, 40 cm wide and 50 cm tall; at 150 x 65 cm, 50 cm wide and 65 cm tall; at 180 x 80 cm, 60 cm wide and 80 cm tall; at 210 x 85 cm, 70 cm wide and 85 cm tall; at 230 x 95 cm, about 77 cm wide and 95 cm tall; at 250 x 100 cm, about 83 cm wide and 100 cm tall; at 265 x 105 cm, about 88 cm wide and 105 cm tall; at 280 x 115 cm, about 93 cm wide and 115 cm tall; and at 300 x 120 cm, 100 cm wide and 120 cm tall.
Over furniture, the set looks balanced at about two thirds of the furniture’s width. 95 x 40 cm fits a narrow hallway wall or the space above a desk, and above a 180 cm bed, choose 120 x 50 cm. Above a 225 cm sofa, choose 150 x 65 cm, and above a 270 cm dining table, the black and white set in 180 x 80 cm. From 250 x 100 cm up, the rings need a long living-room wall, an open-plan space or the wall above a big corner sofa.
Each canvas arrives stretched on its own wooden stretcher, included in the price, so the Circle on White set is ready to hang. Hang them with equal gaps, starting from the middle canvas with its two large rings. Delivery takes 15–45 days. The black rings, dots and splashes on the white and pale grey ground are hand-painted, so the painting is not a print.
