Description
Pink Haze – A Warm Memory in Colour
This abstract painting is woven from gentle contrasts: muted violet, dusty pink, and bluish grey interweave in a soft, multi-layered composition. Warm amber and orange accents are rubbed into it, working like sunbeams through fog – like the memory of a warm afternoon.
Technique & Texture
Soft layers, applied and blurred again and again, create a misty depth with minimal ridges, enlivened by spatter. This feeling is possible only in a hand-painted artistic painting – the artist applied each gentle layer with his own hand so the haze stays warm and alive.
The Motif
Amber tones glow through the pink veil like the sun through morning mist, while a luminous white-amber zone right of centre acts as the focal point. The painting is at once abstract and soothingly readable.

Pink Haze over a sofa, bed or sideboard
Pink Haze is painted in 14 square sizes, from 40 x 40 to 180 x 180 cm. Let the pink and violet canvas fill about two thirds of the width of the furniture beneath it. Over a 200 cm sofa choose 130 x 130 cm, above a bed 160–180 cm wide take 110 x 110 or 120 x 120 cm, and over a sideboard of about 150 cm choose 100 x 100 cm. For a narrow hallway wall or beside a bedroom door take 60 x 60 or 70 x 70 cm, where the amber glow can be seen from close by.
Pink Haze arrives ready to hang when you choose YES in the Stretcher menu, with the canvas stretched on a wooden stretcher. A frame for Pink Haze is optional, and the Frame menu starts at “Without frame”. Delivery takes 15–45 days. The soft violet, dusty pink and amber layers are hand-painted and blurred again and again, so this painting is not a print.
Pink Haze: questions before you buy
Which size of Pink Haze suits a 200 cm sofa?
A 200 cm sofa calls for a canvas about 133 cm wide, so choose 130 x 130 cm, while a lower sofa or a smaller room is well served by 120 x 120 cm.
Is Pink Haze a print?
No, the violet, dusty pink and amber layers are applied to the canvas by hand and then softened into haze.
Can I order Pink Haze in a size that is not among the 14?
Yes, we paint the soft pink haze with its amber glow as a painting made to order.
