Description
Full Moon – a silver circle and three red hearts
Wall art suspends three red hearts on thin winding threads and sets them left of a large silver-grey circle — decorative painting whose whole balance rests on one regular shape among irregular ones.
Technique and texture
Grey went on in layer after layer and was pulled down into thin runs in places. The canopy is dabbed with a small brush in dense red so that individual tufts stay separate. The threads of the hearts and the finest branches were drawn with a narrow tip in one pass each.
The motif
The circle takes the middle third and is the only regular figure on the canvas; everything else is irregular. The hearts hang at three different heights, so the eye travels up a diagonal. The tree at the right edge is not whole — only its right side is shown, which opens the scene outward.
Setting and placement
A grey ground carrying one saturated colour will go with almost any furnishing, which is the practical case for it. The red marks are small enough to work as punctuation rather than as a claim on the wall.

Full Moon: sizes, stretcher and delivery
Full Moon is painted in 12 sizes from 50 x 50 to 180 x 170 cm, some fully square and some a touch wider than tall. The silver circle reads well at roughly two thirds of the furniture width beneath it: 140 x 130 or 120 x 120 cm over a 200 cm sofa, 110 x 105 cm above a 160–180 cm bed, 100 x 100 cm over a 150 cm sideboard, and 50 x 50 or 60 x 60 cm for a hallway.
Select YES under Stretcher and the grey canvas with its three red hearts arrives on a wooden stretcher, ready to hang. A frame for Full Moon is optional and chosen in the Frame menu, which opens at Without frame. Delivery takes 15–45 days. The silver circle, the hearts and the red canopy are hand-painted over a layered grey ground, so this painting is not a print.
Questions about Full Moon
Which size of Full Moon goes over a sofa?
For a 200 cm sofa we suggest 140 x 130 cm; with a shorter sofa or a lower ceiling, the square 120 x 120 cm.
Does Full Moon arrive ready to hang?
Yes – with YES under Stretcher, the grey Full Moon canvas is stretched on a wooden stretcher before it leaves us.
Is a frame included with Full Moon?
No, a frame for Full Moon is chosen separately in the Frame menu, where the default is Without frame, so the grey and red canvas otherwise comes unframed.
Can I order Full Moon in a size that is not listed?
If none of the 12 sizes between 50 x 50 and 180 x 170 cm suits your wall, ask us about a painting made to order.
