Technique and texture
Each block is a single pass of a wide blade, pulled once and never corrected. The colours were laid wet into wet, so they mix where they meet and produce intermediate tones that were never on the palette. In places the paint is drawn so thin that the white of the canvas shows through.
The motif
The blocks are set in a loose grid that thickens toward the middle and thins toward the edges. The left runs yellow and green, the middle red and orange, the right blue and violet, so the whole behaves as a crossing from one cold edge through a warm middle to the other. No shape becomes an object; the motif stays pure colour construction, and every edge fades into white so the mass floats.
Setting and placement
Because the canvas contains most of the colour wheel, it will find something to agree with in a room that is already furnished rather than demanding a scheme of its own. The wide landscape crop suits the run above a sofa or a dining table.
