Colour Star – painting, hand-painted on canvas

The Colour Star painting: a burst of red, yellow, blue and black strokes in three panels

The Colour Star painting, a burst of red, yellow, blue and black strokes on white, hangs as three equal panels side by side in a row. Each size in the dropdown is the whole Colour Star set of three, width first.

At 80 x 40 cm each panel is about 27 cm wide and 40 cm tall; at 90 x 60 cm, 30 cm wide and 60 cm tall; at 120 x 80 cm, 40 cm wide and 80 cm tall; at 150 x 100 cm, 50 cm wide and 100 cm tall; at 180 x 120 cm, 60 cm wide and 120 cm tall; at 210 x 140 cm, 70 cm wide and 140 cm tall; at 250 x 125 cm, about 83 cm wide and 125 cm tall; at 260 x 130 cm, about 87 cm wide and 130 cm tall; at 275 x 135 cm, about 92 cm wide and 135 cm tall; and at 285 x 140 cm, 95 cm wide and 140 cm tall.

The 80 x 40 cm set suits a narrow wall, a hallway or the space above a chest of drawers, and above a 140 cm desk, 90 x 60 cm. Above a 180 cm bed, choose 120 x 80 cm; above a 225 cm sofa, the Colour Star set in 150 x 100 cm, about two thirds of its width; and for a high reception wall, 210 x 140 cm. The sets from 250 x 125 to 285 x 140 cm suit a long open-plan wall or a staircase.

Each panel arrives stretched on its own wooden stretcher included in the price, so the star goes up at once. Hang the panels with equal gaps, from the middle panel outwards. Delivery takes 15–45 days. The Colour Star painting is hand-painted in thick layers, so it is not a print. The photograph shows the three panels in a row on a light wall in slim silver frames, which are for illustration only; the Colour Star set arrives unframed.
