Golden Drops – sea foam and stardust
Soft white-grey watery sweeps that blush pink at the bottom, crossed by a grey wave band and two clouds of gold spray: the upper third stays pale grey-white, while across the middle a horizontal wave band opens with a fine dark foam crest along its top.
Technique & Texture
The gold spray gathers into two clouds – on the left at mid-height and denser at the upper right – and from them single gold drops fall through the lower half, the largest ovals at the lower right. This is a hand-painted painting on canvas – the drops are real, laid in tiny relief dots, not printed.
The Motif
The lower quarter warms to a gentle pink, and over the wave band a white spray is rubbed in like sea foam. An airy, romantic modern painting in which water and stardust meet on a single surface.
