Description
Gift – two white flowers over a rust band
Wall art belts a grey field with one horizontal rust band and sets two large white flowers above it, their long stems crossing the band and running on to the bottom edge: painting on canvas in which that single horizontal is the axis the eye finds first. The heads have broad fleshy petals and a green core.
Technique and texture
The white is laid very thick and the knife has left flat facets on every petal. The centres are dark grey and pressed downward, so the petals rise above them. The rust band is the only densely granular passage on the canvas and behaves like cloth stitched across it.
The motif
The two heads are not a matched pair: the upper one is open and turned up, the lower one larger and tipped forward. White droplets are scattered over the whole surface and show most clearly against the rust. The stems are the only straight lines in an otherwise softly painted scene.
Setting and placement
Because that band sits horizontally, the piece settles naturally above a low chest or a bed. The grey around the flowers takes warm and cool lighting equally well.

Gift – sizes for a tall wall
Gift, the two white flowers above a rust band, is painted in 14 upright sizes from 40 x 100 to 180 x 315 cm. The long stems pull the eye upward, so the painting suits a narrow wall, where 40 x 100 or 50 x 150 cm is enough, a console of about 100 cm, which takes 70 x 120 cm, and a stairwell or a tall wall beside a sofa, where 100 x 175 or 120 x 210 cm holds its own.
Select YES under Stretcher and the grey field with its two white heads arrives stretched on a wooden stretcher, ready to hang. No frame comes with Gift, and the Frame menu starts at Without frame. Delivery time for Gift is 15–45 days. The thick white petals are hand-painted with a palette knife, and the flat facets it left on them show the painting is not printed.
Questions about Gift
Which size of Gift fits a stairwell wall?
For a wall along the stairs choose 100 x 175 or 120 x 210 cm, so the long stems of the white flowers follow the height of the space.
Does Gift come with a frame?
No, a frame for the rust band and the white flowers is picked in the Frame menu, where Without frame is the default.
Can I get Gift in another size?
Yes, for a size outside the 14 listed, ask us about a painting made to order with the two white flowers in your measurements.
