Description
This abstract painting on canvas is a masterpiece of mixed materials and earthy chromatic poetry. A warm sandy and beige base carries a large, dark curved form in the upper right corner — like a rock, mountain ridge, or cloud rolling in from above. The white lower-left zone is enriched with a ribbed, textural band — made of corrugated material or a coarse application — that separates the light and dark areas. Two small black rectangular forms act as architectural keys framing the passage. The whole surface is full of tactile richness — colour and material are equally important here.
