Description
Rows of Cypress Trees – five spindles by a white road
Painting on canvas walks the eye up a white road winding from the bottom edge into the distance, with five dark green cypresses standing along it — decorative painting whose order comes from flat banded colour rather than from perspective drawing. Two of the trees run the full height of the canvas and three shrink toward the middle.
Technique and texture
The cypresses are painted as full smooth spindles with a single lit side and no separate branches. The landscape bands are laid flat and matt so the colour stays planar and calm. The sky carries a visible scratched texture and is the only place where that smoothness is broken.
The motif
A small white house with a red roof stands in the middle and gives the whole scene its scale. Above the field a dark horizontal band separates earth from sky cleanly. In the lower left corner a grey-blue triangular plane closes the composition on that side.
Setting and placement
The style is simplified and planar, so the picture reads as orderly rather than insistent. It settles well in a kitchen, a dining room or a holiday flat on a warm, earthy scheme.

With YES under Stretcher, Rows of Cypress Trees arrives stretched on a wooden stretcher, ready to hang. The frame is chosen in the Frame menu, which for this cypress landscape begins at Without frame, so no frame is included. Delivery takes 15–45 days. The painting is hand-painted in flat, matt bands of red-brown earth, golden ochre field and chalky blue sky, and it is not a print.
