Description
Tree on Golden Earth – a red crown above golden soil
A solitary stylised tree with a dense, round crown of hundreds of red blossom daubs, cobalt-blue accents hiding among them and cream-gold petals along the crown’s upper edge. The scene has the charm of naive illustration – like a plate from an old book, framed by a dark vignette along every edge.
Technique & Texture
The crown is built from thick applications, each petal laid separately; the background is a pale turquoise-grey plaster field with soft golden columns. This is a hand-painted painting on canvas – the hundreds of daubs in the crown cannot be repeated, each one is its own.
The Motif
A slender, almost black trunk splits halfway up into two branches and, in a gentle S-curve, carries the wide, slightly flattened crown that fills the upper half of the canvas. At the foot of the trunk, where the earth meets the background, runs a thin red line – a tiny but distinct accent above the ochre-gold band of soil.
Styling & Placement
A warm, fairytale tree – wall art for bedrooms, children’s rooms and living spaces; the square format and dark border give it the character of a self-contained story.
