Description

The Play of Colors painting: a four-panel set in blue, red, green and orange

The Play of Colors painting lines up four equal upright canvases side by side in a row: blue with red dots, red with dark rectangles, green with blue spirals and orange with black squares. Each size in the dropdown is the whole set of four, width first.

At 80 x 70 cm each canvas is 20 cm wide and 70 cm tall; at 100 x 80 cm, 25 cm wide and 80 cm tall; at 120 x 90 cm, 30 cm wide and 90 cm tall; at 145 x 100 cm, about 36 cm wide and 100 cm tall; at 165 x 110 cm, about 41 cm wide and 110 cm tall; at 180 x 125 cm, 45 cm wide and 125 cm tall; at 195 x 135 cm, about 49 cm wide and 135 cm tall; at 210 x 145 cm, 52.5 cm wide and 145 cm tall; at 225 x 155 cm, about 56 cm wide and 155 cm tall; and at 240 x 165 cm, 60 cm wide and 165 cm tall.

Above a 120 cm desk or in a hallway, choose 80 x 70 cm; above a 150 cm bed, 100 x 80 cm, about two thirds as wide as the bed, and above a 180 cm bed, 120 x 90 cm. Above a 220 cm sofa, 145 x 100 cm keeps the same proportion. The sets from 180 x 125 to 240 x 165 cm are tall, so they suit a long open-plan wall, a staircase or a room with a high ceiling.

Each of the four canvases, from the blue to the orange, arrives stretched on a wooden stretcher, included in the price. Hang them in a row with equal gaps, starting with the red and green ones in the middle, centre line level. Delivery takes 15–45 days. The dots, spirals and scratched lines are hand-painted, so the Play of Colors painting is not a print.
