Description
Golden Mist – gold islands through the fog
Archipelagos of leaf gold sailing through a heavily textured greyish-grey cloud field with pale blue pockets – gold falling through the mist: the main crusted mass lies left of centre at mid-height, the heaviest and most frayed gold of the painting.
Technique & Texture
At the upper left is a gold band, a broken chain winds across the mid-right, a small vertical fragment sits at the upper mid-right, and loose flakes lie at the lower centre and along the right. This is a hand-painted painting on canvas – olive-green hints curl in along several gold edges.
The Motif
The field carries heavy plaster strokes, pale blue pockets lie beside the gold, strongest right of centre and at the left middle, while slate-grey cloud masses sit at the left middle, lower left and lower right; a pink hint breathes at the upper left, and the lower edge stays pale. A dreamlike painting in which the gold settles like a sunbeam through morning fog.
Styling & Placement
A dreamlike canvas painting for bedrooms, living rooms and offices; the greyish mist calms, the gold islands add warmth. Wall art for quiet, bright rooms.

Golden Haze: sizes, frame and delivery
Golden Haze is offered in 14 square sizes, from 40 x 40 to 180 x 180 cm. For a sofa about 200 cm wide, take 130 x 130 cm, since it covers roughly two thirds of that width. Over a bed 160–180 cm wide the gold islands in grey mist work at 110 x 110 or 120 x 120 cm, and over a 150 cm sideboard 100 x 100 cm. A narrower hallway or an office needs only 70 x 70 or 80 x 80 cm.
In the photograph Golden Haze hangs in a thin white frame on the pale wall of a spacious lobby. The frame is optional: for Golden Haze the Frame menu starts at “Without frame”. Choose YES under Stretcher and Golden Haze comes stretched on a wooden stretcher, so you can hang it at once. Delivery takes 15–45 days. The gold leaf and the plaster strokes are hand-painted, so the Golden Haze painting is not a print.
