Technique and texture
Those seams are the lightest passages in the picture, built from gold, white and blue laid tight against one another. The colour bands are thinned and pulled downward, so a darker ground shows through beneath them. Nothing stands up in relief, which is why the surface reads like coloured glass.
The motif
The sequence runs from light at the top to darkest at the foot, so the canvas behaves like a section cut through depth. The gold seams do not settle into straight lines but wave slightly, and that is what keeps a calm structure alive. Pale mallow passages appear between the cream and blue-green fields and soften the cold range.

The painting Office 2 comes in 19 landscape sizes, from 50 x 25 to 340 x 170 cm. Over a 200 cm sofa, choose 130 x 65 cm, which spans about two thirds of the sofa width and leaves about 35 cm of wall on either side of the gold seams. For a bed 160–180 cm wide take 110 x 55 or 120 x 60 cm, for a meeting room with a long table choose 200 x 100 or 240 x 120 cm, and for a hallway, 100 x 50 cm.
