Description
Stillness – the mist erases the line of the horizon
A minimalist misty landscape of near-total silence: the upper seventy percent is a warm grey-beige sky with tiny pale flecks and soft cloud shadows, brightest just above the horizon, while the lower thirty is a dark beige-brown band of earth or sea.
Technique & Texture
The sky is finely textured, and the lower band is laid in horizontal strokes that darken toward the bottom edge. This is a hand-painted painting on canvas – the silver-white glints on the dark band are real flecks of bright paint that cannot be printed.
The Motif
The glints skate across the dark band and gather at the centre into a bright glistening pool – moonlight on water. The border between sky and earth is soft, blurred and slightly uneven: the mist slowly erases the line of the horizon until only the mood remains.
Styling & Placement
Wall art as quiet as its title – for bedrooms, meditative corners and waiting rooms; the neutral tones give way to any furnishing and let the room breathe.

Stillness for bedrooms and quiet corners
Stillness is an upright painting in 13 sizes, from 40 x 60 to 180 x 225 cm. Beside a bed or on a narrow wall between window and wardrobe the misty landscape works at 60 x 90 or 80 x 120 cm, and a meditation corner needs only 50 x 62 cm. Above a console about 110 cm wide choose 70 x 87 cm, which spans two thirds of its width, while a tall stairwell wall takes 110 x 150 or 130 x 160 cm.
The first photograph shows Stillness in a light frame above a brown sofa next to a floor lamp, and the second photograph shows it unframed on a bedroom wall beside the bed. The frame is optional: the Frame menu for Stillness starts at “Without frame”. Choose YES under Stretcher and Stillness arrives stretched on a wooden stretcher, ready to hang. Delivery takes 15–45 days. The silver glints on the dark band are flecks of bright paint; Stillness is hand-painted, so it is not a print.
