Description
The Blue – molten gold and cobalt in a wet night
A night field of streams: in the upper left quarter an amber-gold glow burns and creeps downward, while the right half is flooded by a cobalt-blue cascade, brightest at the upper right of centre. Between and beneath them lies an almost black, wetly dark void.
Technique & Texture
All the strokes run vertically, as if the paint truly crept down a wet surface. This is a hand-painted painting on canvas – the streams are real traces of liquid paint, stopped at exactly the right moment.
The Motif
Across the middle of the canvas runs a restless horizontal seam where gold and blue interweave – the only place where the two bright worlds touch. In the lower half they fade out: grey-white streams at the lower left, blue ones at the lower right, ever quieter toward the bottom.
Styling & Placement
Elegant night wall art for bedrooms, living rooms and offices with darker furnishings; the gold gives it warmth, the cobalt depth. In evening light it comes alive like a city through a wet pane.

Blue – choosing a size, and delivery
Blue is a landscape painting in 15 sizes, from 50 x 40 to 260 x 175 cm. Let the gold glow and cobalt streams cover about two thirds of the furniture beneath. Above a 200 cm sofa that means 130 x 100 or 140 x 95 cm, above a bed 160–180 cm wide 120 x 90 cm, and above a 150 cm dining table 100 x 75 cm. A long hallway with darker furnishings takes 160 x 105 or 180 x 120 cm. The photograph shows Blue head-on in an optional silver frame with a dark inner edge.
Select YES under Stretcher and the canvas of vertical streams arrives stretched on a wooden stretcher, ready to hang. Neither the silver frame nor any other comes with Blue, as its Frame menu starts at Without frame. Delivery takes 15–45 days. The streams of liquid paint are hand-painted and stopped at the right moment, so this painting of gold and cobalt is not a print.
