Blue Mist – a city behind a fogged window
A teal and cream mist of woven strokes, through which the outlines of towers appear: the teal is heaviest in the upper two thirds of the left side, deepest in the upper left corner, and along the upper right a clear cluster of cream high-rises emerges – a city skyline in rain.
Technique & Texture
The strokes cross: vertical over horizontal, like weaving or rain-traces on a pane. This is a hand-painted art painting – the mist is built from dry, translucent layers, between which the ground breathes here and there.
The Motif
The lower third brightens into cream white with teal strands and horizontal white strokes, calmest at the lower centre; at the middle right rests a sage-green patch – a park among the high-rises. A pale silhouette hints at the upper left as well.
