Technique & Texture
The petals are laid on in heavy yellow impasto with white dry-brush edges and dark cracked outlines; the centres are lime-green touches of paint. It is a hand-painted artistic painting – across the darker areas of the ground white droplets are scattered, each with its own shadow.
