Fire Dance – a colour storm between light and dark
An explosive expressionist storm on a divided ground: the upper third is dark, graphite-black with pink patches and a soft white-pink sphere at the upper right, while below a bright white-grey channel climbs diagonally from the lower left edge toward the centre.
Technique & Texture
Yellow-orange clusters burn left of centre and at the lower right, and at the lower centre-right condenses a dark scarlet cluster of scratches with small teal accents right beside it. This is a hand-painted painting on canvas – the scratches, spatters and strokes are the record of real movement, not of a pattern.
The Motif
Thin silver-grey spray lines dart across the whole canvas, and black gestural strokes sign the composition at the lower left and the centre. Light and dark share the stage: the fire dances on the border between day and night.
