A misty turquoise forest, the only figurative landscape of this group: slender dark trunks rise almost the full height in two groups – a denser left one and a sparser right one – while the centre stays open as a bright misty corridor between the trees.
Technique & Texture
The crowns are turquoise and teal clouds filling the upper half, with olive-green flecks at mid-height; over everything is sprinkled a crusted silver-white texture like hoarfrost. This is a hand-painted painting on canvas – the mist between the trunks is a real layer, not a filter.
The Motif
Below, the undergrowth blurs into a grey-charcoal veil with olive and turquoise flecks, white pockets of mist open at the lower left and the centre, and the bottom edge darkens – ground we no longer see. The forest is full yet never crowds: the breath stays in the bright corridor.
