Green Planes – a landscape of green zones

Technique & Texture
The greige field upper right carries a charcoal smoke stroke, a black trapezoid dab, a pale glacier patch and a dark blue mass at the right edge. This is a hand-painted painting on canvas – a white plaster band crosses the middle, and beneath it the meadow green opens out.
The Motif
The large lower green field carries dark calligraphic scribbles – a sickle ribbon stroke at the centre, looping marks at the lower right, yellow-green lit patches and a thin gold vein at the upper right; a cream-blush plaster column is at the lower left with one scratched contour line. Green planes, where the leaf and forest green meet a spontaneous drawing, suited to biophilically designed spaces.
